About NetBSD/landisk

NetBSD/landisk is a port of NetBSD to the SH4 processor based NAS appliances by I-O DATA.

Its current status is that of an experimental port.

NetBSD/landisk News

2008-10-13: NetBSD 4.0.1 released: NetBSD 4.0.1 has been released. More information is available in the 4.0.1 release announcement.

2007-12-19: NetBSD 4.0 released: NetBSD 4.0 has been released. More information is available in the 4.0 release announcement.

2006-09-01: NetBSD/landisk port imported: NetBSD was ported to LANDISK by NONAKA Kimihiro. NetBSD 4.0 will be the first release to include LANDISK support.

Supported System Models

The following appliances by I-O DATA are supported by the NetBSD/landisk port:

USL-5P (Japan)
HDL-U, HDL-AV, HDL-W and HDLM-U series (Japan)
SuperTank LAN Tank (SOTO-HDLWU) (Japan)
UHDL-160U and UHDL-300U (May be found in USA)

Compatible systems from other manufacturers include

Plextor PX-EH16L, PX-EH25L and PX-EH40L

I-O DATA HDL-G Giga LANDISK is an ARM based machine and is supported by NetBSD/evbarm port.
